THE FOOD GAME believes that eating healthy and getting fresh fruits and vegetables daily shouldn’t be difficult. We make it easy for you by pre-cutting and pre-portioning fruits and vegetables so you can make smoothies easily at home. You receive five vacuumed-sealed and freezable packages of pre-cut fruits and vegetables.

We offer seasonal fruits and vegetables that we personally select from among the finest available. Winter, spring, summer and fall we make the most of each season’s best.

THE FOOD GAME smoothies are packed with fresh bananas, pineapples and kale. We include only the freshest, ripest, sweetest fruits and veggies in your Smoothie Pack. You simply add 8-14 oz. of your favorite liquid, be it almond milk, soy milk, coconut milk, hemp milk, cold pressed turmeric (which is one of the most nutritious spices available), or just plain water…and enjoy!

For a creamier smoothie, avocado makes any smoothie creamy and dreamy, and the flavor is easy to hide with plain greek yogurt (avoid sugary, flavored, processed yogurt). Or try coconut or almond yogurt. Cottage cheese is an easy way to get your protein and thicken at the same time. Coconut flesh has a deliciously strong flavor so add it when you want a “coconut-y” smoothie.

Soaked nuts make your smoothie creamier and thicken well because they contain healthy fats and are softer than dry nuts. As a bonus, they’re also more nutritious than dry nuts because soaking gets rid of enzymes that can prevent the absorption of nutrients. Nut and seed butters like almond, cashew, macadamia, hemp, sunflower and hazelnut are perfect to get plant-based protein and thicken your smoothie at the same time. Use gluten-free flours like chickpea, coconut, almond, rice, tapioca or amaranth flour to add creaminess, fiber, and plant-based protein to your smoothie. You can also use your favorite store-bought protein package.

For a meal replacement smoothie, rolled oats make your smoothie thicker because of its soluble fiber. Quinoa is a delicious plant-based complete protein, and its texture is perfect for thickening up your smoothie.

If you like adding a flavor booster or sweetener, honey is rich in natural enzymes and antioxidants and contains a wide range of minerals such as iron, calcium, zinc, potassium, magnesium, copper, chromium, and phosphorus. Like honey, pure maple syrup contains an array of healthy vitamins and minerals. Stevia, a sweet herb from the leaves of the South American stevia plant, has zero calories, zero sugar, and no effect on blood sugar. Fresh herbs, spices, and other flavorings such as mint, ginger, cinnamon, and vanilla extract can help create a variety of yummy flavors. And for an extra hit of nutrition, add ground flax seeds, chia seeds, or wheat germ.

Whatever your liking is, blend it together with your FOOD GAME Smoothie Pack and voila! Share it with a friend or family member, or keep it all to yourself. Smoothies are perfect as a nutritious breakfast-on-the-go or afternoon snack.
